Name: Peter Valentine
Pronounciation: As per standard English
Alias: Smells Like Rain

Age: 23
Birthday: May 8th
Species: Lycan Waxing Moon (Shaman of Storm Crow)

Location: Varies but keeps a small home in the suburbs.
Significant Other: None
Pets: None

Physical Description:
A 5'10" solidly built young man, you could imagine him as a solid player in the local rugby team, if it weren't for his long, coarse hair and wild blue eyed stare. Peter is naturally pale enough that mistakes have been made regarding his species at first impression. His pallid skin is the lasting legacy of his bond with the storm crow, who's first action was to give him "skin like lightning and hair black as the storm clouds".

Personality:
Working in dead end jobs and supplementing his income with bounty hunting and illegal boxing tournaments since his turning has made Peter somewhat coarse to be around. Not one for fancy words and having trouble expressing any feelings other than his ever simmering rage are very much his trademarks. This rage becomes much more potent at the mention of Johnathan Spencer whom he was called to hunt a couple of years ago for causing an "incident" in lycan territory for which he has since been pardoned. Ever protective of his own kind, Peter is yet to forgive him.
When in the thrall of his totem spirit Peter's vile temper and sense of injustice grow even worse and he quickly becomes judge jury and executioner, only realising the gravity of his actions after the fact.

History:
A young man a boring life. Peter wanted more than a shitty call center job, shift work slavery and minimum wage. He found it. Attacked by a wolf while on a night out, Peter found himself caught in a storm and due to his wounds quickly fell to fever and hallucination. When one of the Shamans found him (the fateful bite having been reported) he was introduced to the world of what he now was and what potential it held. He was also told what his dreams of the great crow spirit in storms meant.
Life was never the same. Peter learned to channel the crow spirit's power in basic ways and was told his power would grow in time. Once a year since he has visited the old shaman to commune with the crow and learn more of the totemic magics. That first meeting was four years ago....

This works really well for the tribal, shamanistic nature of the lycans but... if he's quite so much in touch with it and has been brought up by them, it's more likely he'd be more frequently found in the wild areas rather than the city. Not a bad character by any stretch of the imagination but a little conflicted, urban wolves and more often lone and shunned by the more embracing wild ones.

Also, it's not a problem that you're linking your characters together but... there's no problem with asking for an NPC o even asking a player for a PC to link to (PC-to-PC links make for good RP after all), because too many of the same person's characters linked could feel a little... cluttered? If you see what I mean?

That's aces with me to be honest. I was working more on the dichotomy between a city living human who went on to become a very spiritually strong, but somewhat unstable lycan. Hnece the fact he is still in training to use the powers of his totem properly and the emphasis that his most potent meeting with his totem (when it doesn't take him over against his will) was when he was near death from fever and naturally hallucinating.
As for playing him. I am more than happy to let him be passed on as an NPC. If it keeps things moving smoothly that would be better for everybody involved really.
