Slayers, or Hunters, or any other similar term one cares to use, are commonly considered to be individuals who have experienced or learnt about the true nature of the world and its supernatural inhabitants and have decided for whatever personal reason they have to eradicate some or all of them. Slayers can come from any walk of life and some may even be supernaturals themselves who have taken it upon themselves to cull those they consider 'evil', or simply undeserving of existence, from the world.
In many ways there is little to say about the Slayers themselves, as each one is likely to be a unique individual with their own goals and reasons for doing what they do. However, it is worth noting here that there are in existence in the world 'organisations' or simply groups of like-minded slayers who will provide each other with assistance, information, equipment and so on. Slayers need not be out to kill all types of supernatural, or even all members of one species, there are plenty of generalist hunters and equally many 'witch hunters' or 'vampire slayers'.
