---
Physical Description: Standing at about 5'7" and of average weight, she has brown hair kept no longer then chin length. Large spectacles make her brown eyes seem larger then they are. She has a tendency to dress plainly, usually a pair of dark jeans and a loose jumper.
Personality: With an almost permanent air of absent-mindedness many people forget the sharp mind that lurks beneath, although more often then not it is more focused on books then whatever is going on around her. Diane is a kind and polite woman, although her focus towards study can make her seem rude. Devoted to her husband, she prefers not to intrude on Mage's Council business, preferring her observance of the supernatural to be limited to her substantial, and ever growing; library. Once entranced in a book it is capable to draw her out, you just have to be prepared for a lot of 'Mhmm'ing.
History: Born in the poorer side of London to a fractured family, the young Diane found solace in books and education, a harbor of peace from an abusive father. Running away at the age of thirteen, she broke into what she thought was an abandoned apartment, hoping to find a place to rest for the night. Instead she had an encounter that would forever change her life. She found the vampire Isabel, recovering from a job that had gone wrong, too tired and hurting to particularly care that there was a scared teenager in the place, offering the girl a place to sleep for the night in exchange for help with bandages. After the night Diane was unwilling to leave and Isabel had managed to glean some details of the girl's past from her, and they struck a few all too similar chords in her. Deciding to actually spend some of her considerable fortune, she sponsored Diane through the best schools and university. It was there that Diane (then Webber) met her future husband Jeremy Fox. A firm friendship quickly turned to romance, and the rest is history.
