The Ditherx family are originally from the city of Grantham, a city where religion is law; It would be a powerful, trusted member of the league if it wasn't so fickle about what religion that was though. Every religion they have ever chosen has either had an apocalypse or messiah on the horizon, and when it was deemed to have failed, been a lie or simply been taking too long the religion is tossed out for a new one, leading to a history of religious fads.
"True Believers" of each fad must leave and may only return if they admit, in public, they were wrong.
-And spend a day having wet sponges thrown at them in the stocks, or at least, I think that is the current religion's decision.
Since leaving Grantham the family has lived in Duplikest for a few generations, carrying on the family trade as potters. Kendall has learnt the family trade and helps in the shop as best he can.
Never having been one for combat or political machinations he isn't very knowledgeable in the art of court or warfare, feeling that "those things are best left to those above him". He would much rather concentrate on the business and his studies.
Kendall carried on his dull existence of 20 years until one night a war refugee tried to mug him in back alleys of the rive city. Scared and ready to comply with the forceful argument the man's knife was making in his general direction he was saved by the unthinkable.
The man's head popped off his body like a child's spinning top.
Keeping the event secret Kendall was both intrigued and intoxicated by this seemingly inherent power he had, he began researching Magic and Moshu to the best of his ability. He didn't want to draw suspicion towards himself by jumping into the deep end of magical combat and so openly he has begun to learn the Seeing Arts and Clairvoyancy.
In secret he has learnt to cause this twisting motion to happen at will, but controlling the effect is proving beyond his reach, none of the teachings in magical tomes and the like have shed any light on how to.
The Ditherx family in Duplikest is currently made up of Kendall, his parents, his aunt's family (mother's side) and his uncle's family (father's side). His uncle's family has 2 son's, Robus is currently away fighting as a soldier, the other, Broad, helps with the pottery shop just like Kendall. On his Aunt's side is a son and daughter, Polly helps in the pottery shop whereas Niphel is a slacker, he begrudges the helpful attitude of the rest of the family and slacks off, no one is sure what he gets up to.
High Concept: Psychic/Psycho Student.

Kendall has a dull sense of pain and finds it hard to understand what others are feeling when wounded), Quiet and Bookish (Kendall has spent most of his life as a dull, quiet, student and potter, he doesn't stand out, sometimes even when he wants to.), Beast that learnt the taste of Blood (His unique experience has left him wanting more, both in terms of ability, power and unfortunately, bloodshed, something he will need to learn to control.), , .

The Spiral Eyes [-2]: Non-Corporeal Attack with [Conviction] shifts in power (Counts as Weapon:4), must be in a twisting motion and in the direction the eyes are facing. Alertness is rolled to hit. Mental Stress is taken at every use, if the stress taken by it's use goes over the stress track Kendall goes berserk and out of player control until subdued, talked down or the scene ends. This can not be used to manipulate objects, for example if used on a tap, it would destroy the tap, not turn it on/off.
Clairvoyancy [-2]: A simple spell casting with each shift allowing sight to pass through barriers of equal shifts to the spells power. So a Power 4 Spell could pass through 4x1 Shift barriers, 2x2 shift barriers, 1x1 and 1x3 shift barriers or 1x4 shift barrier.
Stunts:
I see you! [Corner of My Eye]: When successfully rolling Alertness passively to pick up on details, gain an additional 2 shifts. This reflects the ability to pick up on more pieces of information, but it does not improve the depth of that information (which would take things into the realm of Investigation).
Ungraceful Efficiency: When using Athletics to avoid an attack your clumsy, natural movement gains you +2, maybe you tripped into cover, duck and covered out of fear or saw a gold coin on the ground... and kicked it further out of reach.
I took a what in the what? [No Pain, No Gain] : You can take a bunch of punishment before it starts to add up. You may take one additional mild physical consequence.
