A New Challenger Appears.
- An excerpt from 'The birth of Demons. A tale from both sides.' by Eunice Aplad and Gremint, a suppressed volume written some years ago.
High Concept: Mercenary Demon
Trouble: Begone foul Beast!
Aspects:
Warrior by Blood (Though the caste system was done away with some centuries ago, for a more human like class system, it still effects Demon's Blood Lineage. Being of Warrior Caste makes Simael a natural fighter, he must also except any challenge to physical combat, no matter his condition, or disrespect his ancestors).
So Spooky (Simael left his dome-city when he came of age to explore the world of man, and found their reaction to him hilarious, he reacts with amusement and laughter to their accusations of him being an evil spirit, a monster and a trickster, considering the things humans do. This leaves him unfazed by their mocking, ridicule and accusations, but sometimes laughing in a priests face isn't the best thing a Red skinned guy with horns should be doing.)
Will work for food ("Humans give you Gold to kill things? Holy Shit." Demons eat Gold. Exclusively. They don't need to eat much but it's still required and Simael has found a lucrative way to feed himself, being a Mercenary and fighting for whoever will give him the most.)

Physical [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] +1 Mild Consequence
Mental [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
Social [ ] [ ] [ ]
Magic [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
Skills:
Superb: Endurance.
Great: Moshu.
Good: Might, Fists, Conviction.
Fair: Athletics, Discipline, Weapons, Presence.
Average: Rapport, Alertness, Lore, Empathy.
Powers: Claws [-1], Pacts [-2], Hulking Size [–2], Inhuman Strength [-2].
Pacts: All Demons, as the legends say, can make pacts with other beings. Humans are a bit wrong about how this works though because they usually deal with the Merchant Caste (who have gotten a bit high and mighty lately and keep asking for souls). In a sense these a more like deals, and though Merchant Caste Pacts are often based around trade or jobs, Warrior Caste pacts are much more violent. Simael's personal ability with Pacts grants him the ability to set "Bombs" on someone when making physical contact (Fists versus an unwilling target with no stress from the actual attack). Each of these mystical "Bombs" must have a "Limit" and "Condition". A "Limit" is what will make the bomb go off, examples of Limits are: A time limit, attacking a specific person, performing a specific act. A "Condition" is what will disarm the bomb, examples of these are: A time limit if not the "Limit", performing a specific act, defeating Simael. If a bomb explodes it does stress equal to Simael's Moshu plus the net hits on the original Fists roll (as placement can make it more or less deadly).
Stunts: None.
Centuries ago Humans discovered Gold. The metal was very rare, malleable and shiny. Humans decided it should be their currency and became very important to them.
Thus began the war with the Demons, the evil protectors of Gold, who would not share and killed all who would try to bring more wealth to Humanity.
Demons had never named themselves, living in their few dome-cities under the earth they simply were themselves, there was never a need to distinguish Demon from others. Then Man came and named them Demon. Then Man stole from Demon, thus Demon killed Man. Demon adopted the name their first enemy gave them and so went to war.
Why do they desire our food so badly, they do not even eat it, they only pass it too each other and carry it around.
